Happy Diwali
Celebrate the Festival of Lights @University of Staffordshire
Friday 1st November 7pm-10pm in the LRV.
This multi-faith festival is celebrated all over the world by Hindus, Sikhs, Jains and some Buddhists, as this also marks a bountiful harvest and the start of an auspicious new year.
Event Programme
7.00pm Arrival and activities with Henna, Rangoli art, and more.
7.00pm Dancing at the Disco
8:00pm FREE Food from Chaiiwala will be served.
8:30pm Disco dancing competition with prizes
10pm Closing remarks
We encourage everyone, whether you are religious or have no faith, to come along and experience the festival of lights with us @University of Staffordshire this Diwali.
